Retrofit of the Ox Stand - Air Products

Newelec recently completed an industrial project for its client Air Products, located in Sombreffe, as part of the Stand Ox retrofit. The aim was to automate the rare gas cylinder filling process in order to improve the safety and efficiency of the facility.

The work covered the entire technical cycle: study, design of electrical diagrams, manufacture of the cabinet, cabling, PLC and HMI programming, right through to commissioning. This project, carried out in 2025, represents an investment of €15,000, demonstrating Newelec’s ability to offer high-performance solutions at a controlled cost.

A notable challenge was integrating the new solution into an existing environment while maintaining site activity.
