Hannut wind farm - Luminus
As part of the development of the Hannut wind farm, Luminus entrusted Newelec with the high-voltage electrical work for the project.
Completed in 2025, this project included the supply, installation, and connection of high-voltage cables, as well as the installation of a large concrete substation (4.5 m x 13 m x 4.5 m), requiring special transport.
Newelec also supplied, installed, and connected Schneider PIX 25KA high-voltage cells, directly connected to the ELIA-ORES substation, and set up a remote control and supervision system. The integration of fiber optics completes this installation, ensuring efficient and secure network management.
This project illustrates our expertise in complex energy infrastructures and our ability to meet the technical requirements of major players in the sector.
