New PMC waste sorting plant - Sitel
As part of the construction of the new PMC waste sorting center in Engis, Newelec carried out all the electrical installations.
This 10,000 m² plant, designed to process up to 30,000 tons of PMC waste per year, is an essential link in the waste recovery chain in Wallonia.
Our services included:
The high-voltage section, with the installation of two 2,500 kVA transformers and a high-voltage cabin at the property boundary.
The design, study, and manufacture of the main low-voltage switchboard (LVSB) for the installation, with a power rating of 6300 A, connected to the two transformers. This LVSB was built to the most demanding standards, with a 333 WWW service rating in 4b form.
The complete low-voltage installation: Process main low-voltage switchboard, interior and exterior lighting (halls, administrative building, surroundings), security lighting, access control, intrusion system, CCTV, charging stations, etc.
This project illustrates our ability to meet the complex needs of modern industrial infrastructures, guaranteeing robustness, safety, and energy efficiency.
